Sunday BestJournalQsuite award seats are available from 10 U.S. cities to Doha, with 70,000 Avios one-way and a 35% transfer bonus cutting the cost to as few as 51,852 points.

Upgraded Points reported that Qatar Airways has opened one-way award availability in its Qsuite business-class cabin on routes from Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. to Doha for travel from May to October 2027. Fares start at 70,000 Avios, and as many as nine seats are shown on some flights. The site says these seats likely will not last long.
The same seats often sell for more than $7,000 one-way in cash, according to Upgraded Points. Travelers can search for dates with Seats.aero's Qsuites Finder, a tool that shows inventory through Qatar Airways Privilege Club and partner programs including JetBlue TrueBlue, American Airlines AAdvantage and Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards. Rates through those partner programs vary.
The lowest award price is available when redeeming Qatar Airways Privilege Club Avios, Upgraded Points says. Qatar Airways shares Avios with Aer Lingus, British Airways, Finnair and Iberia, which is why transfers between those accounts are free and instant. Avios can be moved from those partner accounts to Qatar Privilege Club instantly at no cost. American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards and Capital One miles transfer to Qatar at a 1:1 ratio.
Two other currencies have a 35% transfer bonus to Qatar Avios through October 31, 2026: Citi ThankYou Points and Rove Miles. The 35% bonus makes the transfer ratio 1 to 1.35. With that bonus, a 70,000-Avios award costs as few as 51,852 Citi ThankYou Points or Rove Miles. Using Capital One's 20% bonus, which Upgraded Points says also ends October 31, the same award requires about 58,300 miles. The 35% bonuses are higher than the 20% Capital One bonus offered at the same time.
To book, travelers should log in to Qatar Airways Privilege Club and search for one-way business-class awards on the listed routes. Upgraded Points recommends moving qualifying Avios to Qatar before booking. Transfers from partner accounts are instant, and the bonus rates apply only when points reach Qatar Avios.
Upgraded Points describes Qsuite as one of the best ways to travel to Doha, the Maldives and South Africa.
